Evangelist Daniel John Lee

And to the angel of the congregation in Philadelphia write -- These things says He that is holy, He that is true, He that has the Key of David, He that opens, and no man shuts, and shuts, and no man opens.  I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have a little strength, and have kept My Word, and have not denied My Name . . ."

To Sin or Not To Sin — Is That Even a Question?

by Daniel John Lee -- 5/14/16

I’m so grieved when I hear Messianics and Christians saying how we all sin, that’s the human experience — we’re gonna sin no matter what, blah, blah blah.

I John 1:8-9 says that if we confess our sins, Yahshua is faithful and just to cleanse us from ALL sin.  So how much sin does that leave in us?  Answer: 0%.

At that point we should then live I John 3:6-11 which says if we are born of Yah we do NOT COMMIT A SINGLE ACT OF SIN (yes, it really does say that in the Greek).

Now, if IF IF IF — Yah forbid — you should happen to sin — then IMMEDIATELY go in repentance and seek Yahshua for His Blood Atonement and NEVER do that sin again!!!!

If we are fathers in the faith there should be NO sin in our lives PERIOD!!!!

Yahshua said in Matthew 5:48 — be PERFECT even as My Father is Heaven is PERFECT.  He did not say to try or strive — but to BE PERFECT.  The Hebrew word for PERFECT is tamion which means to “have a blameless heart”  or “to have a pure heart.”  Or, as Yahshua said in Matthew 5 — ONLY the pure in heart shall see Yah.

This doesn’t mean you have all knowledge or that your emotions are always perfect — it means you’re doing all you know to make Yah happy and to love your fellow man.  We are all constantly growing in our understanding and application of Torah.

But do NOT say you are gradually getting sin out of your life.  That is NOT the Biblical experience!  Rather, you are gradually being transformed more into HIS Image.  We are going from glory to glory, habitually overcoming any temptation to sin by relying and trusting in YahShua, our High Priest, who was tempted in every way we are but NEVER ONCE sinned.  He ALWAYS provides a way out of sin.

We can, like the Psalmist, declare: We WILL KEEP YOUR COMMANDMENTS!

A true lover of Yahshua would rather die than sin.   Have you resisted sin unto the shedding of blood?  Yahshua did — and He equips us to do the same.

The fruits of the Ruach should be continually ripening in our lives more and more as we grow in obeying more and more of Torah even as He opens our understanding and as we faithfully serve and follow Him.

This state of having a pure heart, and constantly changing to be transformed more and more into His Image — is a change in how we more and more effectively serve Him — but not a change in our purity of heart in doing all we know to love Yah and love our neighbor.  That happens the moment we choose to repent of our sin and throw ourselves upon Yahshua.  We grow in holiness, we don’t gradually get sin out of our lives.  Where there is no knowledge of the Torah there can be no sin.

If you are doing things you know you shouldn’t — if you are willfully breaking the Torah — then you have never known Yahshua or His Power of Deliverance.  Stop calling yourself a servant of Messiah, acknowledge you are a rebel, and repent in tears, allowing Him to transform your heart so you can begin walking a totally sin free life.

The good news of the gospel is this — Yahshua died on the tree and ROSE again so that we might have the inward desire and power to obey His Written Word (Torah) out of a love for Him.  This is indeed what Hebrews 8 says as quoted from Jeremiah 31.  Any other version of the gospel is a false gospel.  Any gospel that permits you to continue to sin, to continue to transgress the Torah — is from the father lies.

Whomsoever the Son sets FREE is FREE INDEED!!!!
