If you have visited Oberlin College, you will find something most disturbing. A university founded by Charles Finney himself, less than two centuries later, is overrun by homosexuals, lesbians and all manner of vice and sin.
No doubt Finney himself would decry such a place, but Finney bears ultimate responsbility for his own legacy.
If you have ever studied Finney's systematic theology, you will discover that he adopted the Platonic mindset of removing the carnal commandments of Torah from what he termed the "moral law". This WRONG division of the Word, this devilish cutting, is no different than elsman and webber who are devilish dispensationalists.
Who gives Finney the right to say some laws are "natural" and some are "ceremonial" and others are "civil"? Who gives Finney license to pick and choose which parts of YahShua's Mosaic Torah we will follow?
Finney got his permission not from the Ruach ha Kadosh, but from the vain and idiotic philosphers who had come before him. Perhaps YHVH overlooked this terrible wrong Finney committed insofar that in the 19th century, many other errors were in need of correction which Finney helped to resolve.
But do not be deceieved. Because Finney, ultimately, did not filter out the Platonic paganism from his understanding of the HEBREW scriptures, his legacy is a university overrun by homosexuals.
Anyone who rejects the Torah, the sabbath day, the jots and tittles of Yah's precious commandments, will likewise become overrun with gross sin.
Anyone who does not heed the Torah preaches a false gospel and thus is ACCURSED.
